Well, well

Look what we have here

Yes, I went mad with the pixellator today. I really hate the photo, but I don't care, because now I have ID with which to buy sake for Ky's birthday.

I nearly couldn't pass the eye test because I didn't leave my lenses in long enough last night. There was something that could have been an S or an X, so I said "essssssskssss?" and the woman didn't care (or notice). Hurrah!

Decided to celebrate with a yarn purchase. It didn't really count because I'd underestimated yardage on Liberty and needed to get another ball. Then I found out that the sewing machine shop sells photocopies of vintage patterns for 30c. Now I've got another cabled cardi on the needles, this one at 8 sts/inch. 1940s patterns are the best! Sometimes I wish I'd been a knitter then, but then I remember that I'd probably be dead now, or at least very very old.

Vintage Knitting Patterns

I really like these, and not just because vintage is "in". There's just something about tiny needles that makes me feel pro. I'd actually wear only a few of them though.

I have a theory, that models who have to wear ugly clothing never really look happy.

On the other hand, look at her:

She's so smug. I wish I were her.

No B to be FO

I was trying to figure out what sort of fob I am. I thought that maybe I was an Asian-American. The problem is, I'm not American. Then I remembered that I was in fact born here and that there's probably some other convenient abbreviation for me. I just can't think of it right now.

Anyway, I don't know what I'm doing yet, so yay helpful template.

Hi Sophia!
