Great Ocean Road

I found my camera this morning, and all these photos from December were still in it.
This is when we flew down to Melbourne for my sort-of cousin's wedding, and afterwards drove down to Adelaide along the Great Ocean Road. It took about a week. Then we stayed in Adelaide for a day before catching a flight back to Sydney.

Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly when and where these photos were taken, so descriptions will be vague.

Possibly London Bridge

I think this might be that London Bridge place, where you used to be able to walk across. One of the arches collapsed while people were on the other side, and they were trapped there for several hours.

A really blue lake

The water really was that colour (Gatorade blue); that's not the reflection of the sky. It's only like this for a couple of months during the year (in summer, I think).

Big sink hole

Actually, I think this is Mt Gambier. Sorry the photo is blurry. It was dusk.
If you come here at night with a bag of apples, possums will approach you to be fed. Now, we didn't have any apples, but we'd been eating apples beforehand. So we got a lot of free possum action.

A big lobster and Dad

Somewhere in the Barossa

I think we bought wine from this place. If we did, the people were very nice and the grounds were beautiful.

I think there must be another memory card from this trip somewhere, because photos of the wedding are conspicuously missing. Anyway, the ones I've posted are a decent summary. I imagine it would be a lovely romantic getaway to take with your partner, if you like driving and the ocean.
