Thursday

Yay, I got my blogging up to date :D

Took a cruise down the Thames and went to London Zoo. I saw the reptile house where they filmed some of Harry Potter :D It's a pretty small zoo. They had to move the elephants out because they didn't have enough room.

Half the animals there are in quarantine.

After lunch, we went down to Greenwich, home of GMT.

East meets west!

Wednesday

Hampton Court Palace

This was so much nicer than Kensington Palace. Henry VIII used to hang out here.

The grounds were so large; we only saw a fraction of them.

Hedge maze!

Had dinner near Aldsgate East. There are heaps of Indian restaurants there, with people standing outside trying to get you in. It's really competitive there, so they offer you things like free poppadoms, naan and X% discount.

I'm tired all the time, because we stay out until 11 P.M., and wake up at 8 every day. It's still quite bright even at 10 P.M so it makes you feel like you've been awake forever.

Tuesday

Kensington Palace
Not really that fancy on the inside. They had a massive Diana shrine/exhibition, since it's the 10th year since her death. They don't let you take photos on the inside because it makes their old stuffs deteriorate.

The Eye
It takes about half an hour to go all the way around. William took this pic; that's why I don't look angry.

Aquarium
Just near the Eye. Something random on the roof.

The Phantom at Her Maj
Still getting standing ovations after 21 years.
(We went to the Tues night performance, but I came back and took a photo this morning, because I'm sad like that.)

Madam Tussaud's and Tower Bridge. Also went to London Tower, and saw the crown jewels, but couldn't take any photos of them

I have quite a bit of London blogging to do, but I only just figured out how to use the wireless internet in the apartment. And I have heaps of emails to answer, and we're about to go out to dinner and a show.

It is pissing down, and it's super cold.

Lamest summer ever.
