You should’ve been there (but you weren’t)
Went out yesterday with s3. Got to the city early to help Ken with his portfolio. He wants to become a professional photographer, and asked me to model. I hope he managed to get a couple of good shots. I think I’m not bitchy/thin/vain enough to put on the typical Asian model look (and I can be PLENTY bitchy/thin/vain).
We ate dinner at 5, just like old people do. We were supposed to get to Luna Park at 6, but Sharon (yes the one from St George) got mixed up and booked dinner for 6. Er, not only that, but the restaurant was next to a karaoke bar, and she booked the k bar instead of the restaurant. Oh dear. We ended up at that Korean place at Capitol. Didn't eat much, because I was full from a quick stop at Passionflower.
It was good that I didn't each much, because after the first ride I felt really sick and had to sit down for a while to recover. I felt mildly ill for the rest of the night, especially from the spinny rides. I went on the Shockwave twice in a row because it had a forwards/backwards motion instead of round/round/round motion. Then when I got off, someone asked me if I was alright, and I said:
"I'm going to go throw up, please get my bag for me" (I left my bag at the bottom of the ride)
Then I walked to the toilets (Lra never runs) and by the time I got there, I felt better! Hurrah!
More highlights:
** I got to scream really loud on the rides. Really, when else do you have to opportunity to scream as loud as you like? Some people said that I burst their eardrums. I'm so proud :D
** I won a really big lion toy by doing that mallet hitting game (the one where you see how hard you can hit). The first time I only got 76 because I'm weak and girly, but the second time I fluked it and hit right in the middle and got 151. So I got to choose the biggest prize and all the guys were really sore because they couldn't even hit over a hundred.
Okay, not really. I actually won it by doing a ball rolling race (the trick is not to roll too hard). It was super easy. My lion sprung two leaks because it's cheap and made in China. Little white balls starting pouring out of its crotch :( So Ken passed it to a random and said "here you go" and I never saw it again. I didn't really want it in the first place (all I wanted was to win the race), but now I think it might've been a nice souvenir.

Why is the shang society called S3?
Does Luna Park look even scarier than usual in those photos? I don't remember its eyes being green.
You look nice in the photos.
Those earrings look familiar.

It's the Shanghainese Students' Society (or something very similar). I should really join. I said I would, but never got around to it...
I swear the face used to have blue irises with WHITE eyeballs. Scariness!
Best earrings ever! I got a few compliments on them, so I asked "What do they remind you of?" and everyone said "the solar system." I was hoping someone would say "the majesty of the infinite cosmos" but no one did :o

Hi! How are you?
Are you the girl with the drawstring things on the sleeves?
Take care!

I'm great :D Finally got a bit of a break because of Easter!
Yes, yes I am. Was it the earrings that gave me away?

Yes, I figured it was you due to a comment someone made about you and the earrings.
Glad you are well.
Take care,
Kay
